Quick Review: I personally enjoyed reading this book more than I anticipated. It came off as one of those cheesy self help books where the author lists out what you need to do to become a better person, or in this case a better leader. However, the book was littered with countless personal stories and testimonies of successful leaders from around the world. Throughout the text George encouraged readers to engage with the lessons and practice self-reflexivity. The overarching message of being an authentic and genuine leader was well intentioned and supported. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to improve their leadership skills or simply learn from current successful leaders in a variety of industries.
