Book Review – Zero to One

Title: Zero to One

Genre: Business/Entrepreneurship

Rating: 4/5

Quick Review: I had been told over and over again that I had to read this book. Eventually I made it a priority and finished it quickly. It’s a relatively easy read and well written. It highlights some best practices for startups and what the future holds in relation to technology and its interaction with business and employment. Most of the advice and tips I had heard before, however this text presented them more eloquently than in previous encounters. Much of the book focused on monopolies, power, and competition in the startup world. In that regard Thiel did a very good job at giving a comprehensive picture. Clocking in at under 200 pages it was a good read but not one that I’m going to adamantly suggest to others.

If Zero to One sounds interesting you can purchase it here!
