Quick Review: Never Eat Alone had come up as a recommended book in some of my social circles over the past couple of years. However, because I quite enjoy eating alone I was hesitant to pick up a copy out of fear the book would call out some of my negative practices. My irrational fear had to be overcome when this book was assigned as mandatory reading for one of my college courses. After going cover to cover in just a handful of sittings I can genuinely say it’s one of the better business books I’ve read. Author Keith Ferrazzi takes a people-centered business approach which I think is rapidly becoming recognized as the norm within the business world. He offers fascinating personal stories, tangible methods for improvement, and quick tidbits of advice. The book did drag on just a little bit too long, I think it could have been condensed by fifty pages or so but at the end of the day, it’s not a big deal. Overall, I enjoyed the read and feel that it offered some legitimate takeaways.
